The Steep & Release valve automatically keeps water in contact with the coffee when brewing directly into cups, without the carafe. Its my Brew program allows you to customize any of the parameters, such as pre-infusion time, brewing temperature and flow rate to suit the specific coffee you are using, whether it is more floral, fruity, earthy, etc. Brew any amount of coffee just the way you like it with the flat bottom filter and conical filter , both included.
